Since its launch within the Uni-Select Virtual Community in March 2004, Victor has enjoyed an unprecedented success within Uni-Select’s member network. The new additions corresponded perfectly to the members’ needs and all members now know the site. It could be said that Victor is no longer a stranger within the Uni-Select family.

Victor still remains an optional service providing Web access to numerous options. The following list gives an idea of the of the original core functionality as well as some of the recent additions and enhancement:

• Usinet: product availability inquiry and ordering in the distribution centres.
• Back Orders: display and searching of member’s Back Orders.
• Transactions: display and searching of members warehouse transactions for the past 12 months
• Price Manual: information on part numbers, prices and specific product information such as current and future Special Prices, Promotional Bulletins, Buying Conditions, MSDS; photos and links to the suppliers’ Web sites; capability of printing a price list by product line.
• Promotion Bulletins: list of current, last 30 days’ or last 12 months’ Promotion Bulletins for all divisions including display, search and print functionalities.
• Information Bulletins: list of last 30 days’ or last 12 months’ Information Bulletins specific to the member’s Division and/or National; functionality to display, search and print the Bulletins.
• Buying Conditions: list of Buying Conditions per product line including display, search and print capabilities.
• MSDS: list of MSDS per line and product including display, search and print capabilities.
• New Applications: list of last 30 days’ or last 12 months’ New Applications per product line including display, search and print capabilities.
• Supplier Web sites: link to supplier Web site by product line.
• Rebate Program: list of volume rebates by product line according to the different Clubs’ conditions.
• SpecXtra: detailed list of AutoXtra private brand product lines with application by product.
• Export functionality: many of the search results can be sorted and downloaded in Excel format to the member’s PC for more flexibility.
